About Coach Lee

Taylor is a NASM certified personal trainer and a fourth-year student at Oregon State University studying Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition. She loves staying active and enjoys all types of movement, whether it’s lifting weights, doing yoga, going for a run, or taking walks with her dog and husband. Outside of coaching and school, she volunteers at the OSU Sports Performance Center, where she helps prepare snacks and smoothies for student-athletes. She also enjoys cooking healthy meals and treats and believes that good nutrition and movement go hand in hand.

Turning Point

Taylor spent nine years as a competitive dancer, and when she stepped away from dance, her passion for strength training began to grow. Dance taught her how important proper form and technique are. When she started weight training, she noticed the same attention to detail was needed. That experience showed her how important strength training can be, not just for performance, but for overall health. As she became more and more fascinated with movement and the human body, she was inspired to pursue a career in fitness to help others learn and feel confident in strength training.

Motivation & Passion

At Helix Training, Taylor’s goal is to help individuals build confidence and knowledge in strength training so they can stay consistent and maintain an active lifestyle. She strongly believes that movement and weight training play an important role in preventing injuries, recovering from injuries, managing chronic conditions, and improving overall mood. Taylor loves helping people learn and enjoys seeing the progress and growth of every client who comes into Helix Training. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others develop a lifelong love for strength training.
