Helix Training exists because strength training should be accessible and inclusive. We believe in smart, results-driven training that adapts to the individual, not the other way around.

Coaches Rebecka Weinsteiger and Kathy Lynch smile side by side in Helix hoodies while members train behind them.

What we're built on

  • Community first. A welcoming space where every body is welcomed, respected, and supported.
  • Intentional programming. Every session is coached with purpose, and every member is supported as a whole human.
  • The long haul. We want you to move better, feel stronger, and show up more fully in your life — today and for decades.

What that looks like on the floor

Small class sizes by design. Coaching that prioritizes learning and sustainable progress over exhaustion. Barriers to movement removed wherever we find them. And beyond the fitness: real relationships and whole-person health.

How Helix started

Dr. Kathy Lynch's path into physical therapy and strength training began with a knee injury that interrupted her college basketball career. Through intentional strength work, she learned firsthand how proper training can reduce pain, restore trust in the body, and create lasting durability. That experience reshaped her relationship with movement, and it's the idea Helix is built on: strength is one of the most powerful tools for injury prevention and pain reduction, and it belongs to everyone.

Who runs it

Helix is owned and led by Dr. Kathy Lynch, PT, DPT, with a team of coaches. Programs designed with a Doctor of Physical Therapy are the reason our classes feel different: the plan respects how bodies actually work.
